HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker College men’s soccer team took on Erskine College Saturday afternoon in a Conference Carolinas men’s soccer match. It was Coker’s final regular season home match of the season and their senior day. Erskine spoiled the Cobras day, coming away with a 1-0 win.

Coker managed 13 total shots on the day, but put only 5 on frame.  Sophomore Eric Stiefield (Eustis, FL) led the offense with 4 shots, while sophomore goalkeeper James Sweeney (Huntingtown,  MD) made one save during the match. 

Erskine’s offense was led by sophomore Matt Sluga (Greer, SC) (A: Castano, 55:10) who had the only goal of the match.  Freshman goalkeeper Roberto de la Vina (Oviedo, Spain) made 5 saves on his way to picking up a clean sheet.

Coker will play their final regular season match of the season at Lees-McRae on October 30.
