Hartsville, S.C. – A single goal by Alex Landim was all the offense the Pfeiffer Falcons would need in their 1-0 win over the Coker Cobras in Conference Carolinas men’s collegiate soccer Tuesday night. The regionally ranked #6 Falcons improve to 10-3 overall, and 6-1 in the conference, while the regionally ranked #9 Cobras fall to 9-3-2 overall, and 3-3-1 in the conference.

Landim (Brockton, Mass.) found the back of the net in the 28th minute with an assist from Kash Knight (Gibsonville, N.C.) giving the Falcons the only goal they would need. Both the Pfeiffer and Coker defenses play outstanding over the remaining 72 minutes of play, with Alex Moreno (Huntersville, N.C.) making two saves for Pfeiffer and James Sweeney (Huntingtown, Md.) making seven for the Cobras.

It was a very physical game with 34 total fouls and eight cards issued during the game.

Coker returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 17, when they travel to Barton College in a 4:00 p.m. match.
