Hartsville, S.C. – The Coker men’s soccer team dropped out of the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) national poll that was released on Tuesday afternoon. The Cobras had another tough week of play, as they tied Queens University of Charlotte 0-0 and they defeated Southern Wesleyan University 2-1 in their 2009 Homecoming match. The Cobras (8-1-2, 2-1-1 Conf. Carolinas) still managed to stay in the Southeast Regional ranking, dropping to #5 in the region.
Joining the Cobras in the regional ranking are fellow Conference Carolinas schools Lees-McRae (#1), Anderson (#4), Pfeiffer (#8) and Limestone (#10).
