Hartsville, S.C. – For the second straight week the Coker men’s soccer team is ranked #4 in the Southeast Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). The Cobras also received votes for the national ranking for the second straight week, but were unable to crack the top 25 this week.

Coker continued its winning ways last week, defeating Mount Olive College 1-0 in their first Conference Carolinas match of the season. Overall the Cobras are 6-0 and 1-0 in conference play, including five consecutive shutout matches.

This week the Cobras will travel to Erskine College for a 4:00 p.m. match on Saturday, Sept. 19. Coker will be looking for lucky number seven in the win column as they take on the Flying Fleet. Last season the Cobras defeated Erskine 2-1.
