ANDERSON, S.C. -- Lahnden Onger scored off an assist from Lasse Sohrweide at the 102:16 mark to give Anderson University a 2-1 victory over Coker in a Conference Carolinas match Saturday afternoon at Smethers Field.

Anderson, 9-3-2 overall and 6-0-2 in the conference, has won six straight and is unbeaten in its last nine matches. The loss drops Coker to 4-10-2, 1-6-1.

Coker took the lead at the 13:23 mark when Stefan Voukes scored from 20 yards out off a restart.

Anderson tied the match at the 22:03 mark when Adrien Moufflet blast a shot into the upper left corner of the Cobra net from 15 yards out.

Anderson outshot Coker, 10-2 in the second half, but regulation time ended with the match tied at 1.

Anderson finished the match with a 19-6 advantage in shots.

Anderson goalkeeper Benjamin Pepion made two saves to earn the victory in the Trojan net.

Coker goalkeeper Ryan Lewis made seven saves.

The victory moves Anderson back into first place in the Conference Carolinas standings, pending the outcome of the Lees-McRae-Erskine match.
