How It Happened
Limestone started off hot in the first quarter, scoring the first seven goals before the Cobras got on the board with a goal from Kaleb Hiltz (assist Britt Rumbaugh) to make it 7-1. The Saints closed out the quarter with three goals to make this one a 10-1 game.
The second quarter was by far the best for the Cobras, holding the Saints to just one goal in the period while scoring two of their own. Augie Ford got on the board first off a Justin Beighey assist, and, right after, Tyler Ajemian scored off a Ryan Forehand assist to close it to 11-3 leading into halftime.
Unfortunately for Coker, Limestone came out firing in the rest of this one, putting this one away with a 21-4 victory. The lone goal for the Cobras in the second half was a Jackson Duke ball that was assisted by Sawyer Alexander.
