Coker Falls On The Road To Lander

Hartsville, SC: The Coker University Men's Lacrosse team faced off against Lander on the road on Saturday, February 10th. Coker was able to score six goals on the day off of 14 shots.

1st Quarter

In the first quarter Coker was able to take a 2-0 lead off goals Ryan Forehand with 10:18 to go in the first period. Forehand's goal would be assisted by Elijah Utz, leading to the first score of the game. With 5:36 to go in the first quarter, Coker would get their second goal on the day from Jackson Duke, his goal would be assisted by Tyler Ajemian.

2nd Quarter

In the second quarter, Coker would get an unassisted goal from Michael Shephard, who would break a Lander 3-0 lead with 3:31 left to play in the first half. That would be the only goal scored in the second quarter for the Cobras as they would go in to the locker rooms deadlocked at three.

3rd Quarter

Coker would get another goal in the third quarter from Elijah Utz. Utz's goal would come with 7:45 remaining in the third period. His goal would go unassisted and be the only goal that Cobras were able to score in the third period.

4th Quarter

The fourth quarter would see Coker get two goals at the end of the game, the first an unassisted goal by Zyaire Marshall with 7:40 remaining in the quarter. Britt Rumbaugh would get the sixth and final goal for the Cobras, Jackson Duke was able to pick up the assist on Rumbaugh's goal to cap off the scoring for the Cobras.

In The Cage

Ethan Hofert took the cage for the Cobras and was able to pick up 21 saves on the night, KJ Seymour picked up a save in his time in the cage for the Cobras.

Up Next For Coker

Coker will return home on Tuesday, February 13th, as they will welcome Barton to Coker Field, with face off scheduled for 3:00PM.
