ROCK HILL, S.C. - Coker University sophomore long stick midfielder Nathan Allan was named to the South Atlantic Conference All-Conference First Team announced today (Apr. 28) by the conference.

Allan wrote his name all over the Coker program all-time records books in his first season in Hartsville after transferring from Lourdes University, where he was an NAIA All-American. His 123 ground balls and 32 caused turnovers during the season both set the new record for a single season. He is already tied for seventh on the career list in ground balls and ranks ninth in the career caused turnovers category. Allan also won 143 face-offs, scored one goal, and added one assist.

This is Allan's first career All-Conference honor.

The Peterborough, Ontario, Canada native is the son of Mike and Kathy Allan and is majoring in business administration and marketing.
