HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker College men's lacrosse team (3-3) dropped their South Atlantic Conference opener to the visiting Lincoln Memorial University Railsplitters Saturday (Mar. 10) afternoon.
Matt Murphy led the Cobras with four points, burying three goals and dishing out one assist. Stephen Sperbeck and Andrew Dappen found the back of the net one time each. Defensviely, the Cobras were led by Cole Theodoropolous who caused a team-best two turnovers. Justin Hopkins led the Cobras in the groundball department, scooping up a team-high four.
The Cobras will be back in action on Thursday (Mar. 15) when they host conference foe Catawba. Opening face off is set for 3:30 p.m. at the Coker Athletic Field.
