
LaClair Named Second Team All-Conference
Sophomore Keith LaClair earned his second consecutive all-conference selection.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College men's lacrosse player Keith LaClair was named to the Conference Carolinas all-conference second team, the league office announced today. It is his second-straight all-conference selection; he was on the third team last season.
LaClair, a sophomore, led the Cobras and was fourth in the conference in scoring with 30 goals. He tallied at least one goal in 12 of Coker's 15 games. He was second on the team with 13 assists, tallying a combined 43 points on the season. LaClair is the first two-time all-conference selection in program history.
A native of Lindenhurst, N.Y., LaClair is a physical education and sport studies major with a concentration in sports management. He is the son of Gerald and Mary LaClair.
The Conference Carolinas all-conference teams were determined by vote from each head coach of participating league institutions. Awards were presented at the league banquet.
Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletic conference made up of 12 teams from North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Coker College, Converse College, Erskine College, King College, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, Mount Olive College, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University and Queens University of Charlotte.
