Cobra Lacrosse Signs Wilkes for 2013 Season

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Zack Wilkes of Pasadena, Md. has signed a National Letter of Intent to play lacrosse at NCAA Division II Coker College in the 2012-13 season. 

The midfielder and face-off specialist will join the Cobras from Northeast High School where he has been a letter winner in lacrosse and wrestling.  Wilkes scored two goals, had 95 ground balls and won 201 face-offs during his junior year at Northeast.

In addition to excelling on the lacrosse field, Wilkes is an exceptional student. He is a member of the National Spanish Honor Society and he intends to major in biology at Coker. 

The Coker lacrosse team will begin their inaugural season of play on Feb. 10, 2012 at home against Shorter College. The Cobras will play their home games at Byerly Park in Hartsville.
