Lauria Signs to Play Lacrosse for Coker College
Shane Lauria of Westbury, N.Y. has signed a National Letter of Intent to play lacrosse for the Coker Cobras in 2013.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College head men's lacrosse coach Tony Smith is pleased to announce that Shane Lauria has signed a National Letter of Intent to play lacrosse for the Cobras during the 2012-13 season.
Lauria, an attacker from Westbury, N.Y., is a multi-sport letter winner from WT Clarke High School. At Clarke, Lauria has lettered in lacrosse, football and wrestling. As a standout lacrosse player he has earned All-Conference honors and was a three-time Offensive MVP.
Lauria becomes the second WT Clarke player to sign with the Cobras during the early signing period, joining teammate Mike Martiello.
The Coker lacrosse team will begin their inaugural season of play on Feb. 10, 2012 at home against Shorter College. The Cobras will play their home games at Byerly Park in Hartsville.
