MEN'S GOLF FINISHES 3RD IN GRIFFIN INVITATIONAL

Howey-In-The-Hills, FL - The Cobra Men's Golf Team traveled to Florida to compete in the Griffin Invitational. The invitational, hosted by Saint Leo, saw the Cobras take home bronze with a team score of 18 over par.

The Cobras finished behind Palm Beach Atlantic (+13) and host Saint Leo (+17), both of whom are included in the DII national rankings. Coker had a top-ten finisher in Derek McGaughlin who shot just 2 over in three rounds to take 9th of 62 golfers. Ty O'Brien also had a solid outing, shooting only 4 over and taking 15th place.

Coker will be back in action here in a couple weeks, competing in the Lander Invitational at the Preserve at Verdae Golf Club in Greenville, SC. This will be a two-day tournament taking place Monday, September 30th and Tuesday, October 1st.
