Hallinger in Fourth, Cobras Tied for Seventh after Day One of the Jay Jenison Cup

St. Augustine, Fla. – The Coker University men's golf team completed the first day of the Jay Jenison Cup at the Slammer and Squire Golf Club on Monday (Sept. 20).

Coker had a strong two rounds on the day and currently sits in seventh place in the tournament.

Jonathan Hallinger currently sits in fourth place after shooting a 68 in both rounds to finish the day at -8 (136). Killian Ryan and Caleb Tidd both sit tied in 40th after shooting +3 (147) on the day. Coleman Bess is in 54th, shooting +5 (149). Fred Tindale is in 71st +9 (153).

The Cobras will be back in action tomorrow, Tuesday (Sept. 21) to wrap up the tournament. Tee time is set for 8:00 a.m., with live coverage at www.cokercobras.com.
