Monroe, N.C. – The Coker University men's golf team completed the first round of the Hargett Memorial Intercollegiate at the Stonebridge Golf Club in Monroe, N.C. today (Mar. 15).

Coker had a strong two rounds on the day, and currently sits in third place in the tournament with two Cobras inside the top 10. 

Caleb Tidd leads the Cobras, sitting in third after shooting (144) (E). Tindale eagled hole 18, birdied four holes and shot for par on 24 holes. Killian Ryan is in ninth place after shooting a 147 (+3). Ryan eagled hole 18 in round one, birdied six holes and shot for par on 17 holes. Coleman Bess is tied for 16th, shooting a 149 (+5). Fred Tindale is tied for 26th, shooting a 151 (+7), JJ Cotts is tied for 56 shooting 161 (+17).

The Cobras will be back in action tomorrow, Tuesday (Mar. 16) Tee time is set for 10:00 a.m. with a shotgun start. Live coverage can be found at www.cokercobras.com.
