Coker Men's Golf Concludes Fall Season at Queens Invitational

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – At The Club at Irish Creek, the Coker University men's golf team finished fifteenth in the Queens Invitational on Tuesday (Oct. 22).  Finishing with a combined team score of 883 (+31) after three rounds.

Freshman Killian Ryan led the way for the Cobras, shooting a 218 (+5). Ryan's best round came on the front nine in round three when he shot an even par (71) with two birdies. Freshman Frederick Tindale was just one stroke behind at 219 (+6). Tindale finished both rounds two and three with a score of 71 (+1) totaling ten birdies for the tournament.

Sophomore Coleman Bess finished at 222 (+9). Bess finished strong on the back nine in round three, as he shot an even par (36) with a birdie. Junior Haydon Norwood shot a 226 (+13), and Nicholas Beiers finished at 240 (+27). Norwood finished the tournament with four birdies and an eagle, while Beiers birdied three times

The Queens Invitational concludes the fall season for Coker University men's golf. The Cobras will be back in action on February 10th when they start the 2020 campaign at the 2020 Spring Kickoff in St. Augustine, Florida. Live scoring of the event can be found at www.cokercobras.com
