Cobras Sit Second After Opening Round at SAC Men's Golf Championship

CAMDEN, S.C. - The Coker College men's golf team used an opening-round 284 (+4) on Sunday (Apr. 14) to put them in sole possession of second-place after the first round of the South Atlantic Conference Men's Golf Championship at Camden Country Club. 

Wanjoo Lee led the day-one charge as he fired a 69 (-1), one of just six golfers to shoot under par for the day. Ethan Cairns will head into the second round in eighth-place as he finished the day with a 70 (E) and was the only player at even par in the round. Daniel Graves was right on his heels after he carded a 71 (+1) to put him in a tie for ninth. Haydon Norwood ended his round tied for 24th after his 74 (+4) and Zachary Herold rounded out thhe day in 45th following his 78 (+8).

The Cobras will look to make a move in round two on Monday (Apr. 15) as the first group tees off at 8:30 AM.
