
Cobras Impress at Southern Tide Classic, Finish Tied For Second
The Coker College men's golf team rounded out play at the Southern Tide Classic on Tuesday (Mar. 5) as they finished in a tie for second after shooting 859 (+3) as a team.
GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Coker College men's golf team rounded out play at the Southern Tide Classic on Tuesday (Mar. 5) as they finished in a tie for second after shooting 859 (+3) as a team.
Wanjoo Lee was out in the front of the pack once again as he finished the tournament in a tie for sixth-place, his third top-ten performance of the season. Lee bounced back from a rough start and birdied the final four holes to finish the day at 74 (+2) and -2 for the tournament. Haydon Norwood and Daniel Graves both just missed out on top-ten finishes as they finished tied for 13th and 15th, respectively. Both Graves and Norwood fired off a final round score of 73 (+1). Ethan Cairns ended the day with a 76 (+4) to finish in a tie for 26th while Nicholas Beiers closed out the day with an 85 (+13) to finish in a tie for 68th.
The Cobras will be back on the course on Monday (Mar. 25) when they travel to Greenwood, South Carolina for the Bearcat Invitational.
