HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker College men's golf team is scheduled to participate in the Bearcat Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, March 26-27 at the Greenwood Country Club. The tournament will be hosted by Lander University.
At the Hargett Memorial Invitational two weeks ago, the Cobras finished fourth place overall through the two rounds played, with the third being cancelled due to rain. Coker shot a team score of 295 (+7) in round one and a second round posting of 290 (+2) to secure their placing.
Wanjoo Lee led the way for the Cobras in the opening rounds, powering a two-under, 70 and one-over 73, which tied him for seventh place in individual play.
Ethan Cairns and Daniel Graves also kept pace with the top-15 in the field. Cairns shot an even-par 72 in round one and a 74 (+2) in round two, finishing 13th. Graves fired a three-over, 75 and even-par 72, to finish tied for 14th.
Nicolas Parra and Zachary Herold bookended play for the Navy and Gold. Parra finished tied for 19th individually with rounds of 78 (+6) and a one-under 71. Herold fired off rounds of 79 (+7) and 77 (+5).
