Cobras Remain Seventh in NCAA Regional Poll

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker College men's golf team is ranked seventh in the latest NCAA regional rankings. 

This is the second-straight week the Cobras are ranked in the regional poll, debuting at No. 7 in last week's poll.

Through seven tournaments this season, the Navy an Gold have recorded a win at the Queens Invitational, the top regional finish at the Kiawah Island Invitational, two runner-ups and two third-place showings.

As a group, the Cobras hold a 57-13-4 record against teams in the southeast region and have a .500 or better record against 25 of 29 regional teams they have faced.

Individually, Taylor Ingle ranks in the top-80 in Division II. Ingle, who has a 73.29 season scoring average, has four top-ten finishes this season, highlighted by a third-place finish at the Queens Invitational. Ingle was also the top performer from the southeast region at the Queens Invitational. Ingle, along with Ethan Cairns, Wanjoo Lee and Will Bundy, all have winning percentages 62.5 percent or better.

The Cobras will be back on the links on Apr. 23-25 for the South Atlantic Conference Championship.
