Cobras Tied for Fourth After Day One at Southern Tide Intercollegiate

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's golf team sits in a tie for fourth place after 36 holes at the Southern Tide Intercollegiate. The Cobras shot rounds of 299 and 298 for a 597 day one team total. 

Will Bundy led the way for the Navy and Gold, firing rounds of 72 and 73. His two-round score of 145 has the senior in a tie for third on the individual leaderboard. Taylor Ingle shot back-to-back rounds of 73, leaving himself in a tie for seventh on the individual leaderboard at 146. Wanjoo Lee and Nicholas Beiers both finished day one with tournament scores of 155. Lee shot rounds of 81 and 74, while Beiers signed off on rounds of 76 and 79. Ethan Cairns carded two rounds of 78 to round things out for the Navy and Gold.

Limestone College sits atop the team leaderboard. The Saints shot team scores of 287 and 295. Scott Pechacek of Barton College is the individual overnight leader, shooting rounds of 71 and 70 in rounds one and two.

The Cobras will tee off on holes 4-6 in Tuesday's (Mar. 7) 8:30 shotgun.
