Cobras Conclude Fall Season at State Farm Intercollegiate
The Coker College men's golf team will close out its 2016 fall slate on Monday and Tuesday at the State Farm Intercollegiate.
TAZEWELL, TENN. – The Coker College men's golf team looks to conclude what has been a stellar fall season on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 10-11), when they travel to the State Farm Intercollegiate. The 54-hole tournament will take place at the Woodlake Golf Club in Tazewell, Tenn.
The Cobras have collected three-consecutive top-three finishes this season, highlighted by a win at the Queens Invite.
Taylor Ingle and Ethan Cairns continue to pace the Navy and Gold, posting season scoring averages of 72.3 and 72.7. Both have two top-ten finishes, while Ingle also has a top-five showing. Wanjoo Lee and Will Bundy have scoring averages of 74.2 and 74.8 through six rounds, while Nicholas Beiers has a scoring average of 77 through two rounds.
Coker is one of ten South Atlantic Conference foes participating in the two-day event. The Cobras are joined by Lincoln Memorial University, Lenoir-Rhyne University, Carson-Newman University, Tusculum Colllege, Mars Hill University, Catawba College, Anderson University, Newberry College and Brevard College.
Tee time begin Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start. The Cobras will tee off on holes 1-3.
