Bundy Fires Final Round 75 to Close Out NCAA Regional Championship

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, FLA. – Coker College men' s golfer Will Bundy carded a final round of 75 at the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Men's Golf Regional Championship. His final round moved him up seven spots on the individual leaderboard, leaving him in a tie for 54th with a tournament score of 229.

Bundy, who started on hole No. 11, bogeyed his opening hole and then recorded two birdies and two bogeys before heading to the front nine. A pair of bogeys on holes two and three pushed him back to three-over on his round with seven holes remaining. Birdies on four and six spring boarded the junior back to one-over on his round. However, a double bogey on hole seven and pars on eight, nine and ten left him at three-over and a final round 75.

Lynn took home both the team and individual title, as they fired a team score of 863 and Manuel Torres finished with a ten-under par score of 206.

Bundy finishes the season with a 73.1 season scoring average, which is fourth all-time in Coker men's golf history.
