Anderson Scores Career High of 37 in a Win Over Limestone

Hartsville, SC- Coker University's men's basketball team emerged victorious in a thrilling game against Limestone University on January 24, 2024. The final score was 102-98 in favor of Coker. This game showcased intense competition and exciting performances from both teams.

The first half was dominated by Coker, who established a solid lead by halftime. They scored 43 points compared to Limestone's 32. Coker's shooting was remarkable, with a field goal percentage of 50%. Demar Anderson was a standout player for Coker, scoring 37 points and making an impressive 12 out of 16 field goals. He also made five out of six three-point attempts. Andre Leavell and Ian Blue both contributed 12 points each. 

Cobras displayed their skills on the defensive end as well. Although Coker had a higher field goal percentage.

With this victory, Coker University improves their overall record to 11-8 and their conference record to 7-3 in the SAC (South Atlantic Conference). Limestone University's overall record stands at 9-10, with a 5-5 record in the SAC.
