Hartsville, SC - The Coker University Men's Basketball Team dropped their midweek game (Feb. 15) against Newberry. 
Leading the Cobras, Jalen Ray and Xavier Moultrie collectively scored 18 points on the night. Following was Zavier Measmer with eight of his own. Nine other Cobras were able to join in, making up the remaining 31 points. As a team, Coker shot 35.3 percent from the field, 20 percent from the three-point range, and 63 percent from the free throw line. 

The Cobras registered 23 rebounds throughout the game, being led by Jamie Muldowney with four. Tate Mulkey and Mahmoud Bangura also had two rebounds of their own. Coker collected eight assists and 14 steals. With six steals, Xavier Moultrie once again led Coker. 

The Cobras will be returning to the court on Saturday (Feb. 18th) against Mars Hill. Tip off is set for 4:00 PM in Hartsville, SC. Live streaming and stats will be available at www.cokercobras.com
