Coker Shuts Down Tusculum in Saturday Night Game

Hartsville, SC - The Coker University Men's Basketball Team took down Tusculum by a score of 69-59 on Saturday Night (Jan. 21st).

On Saturday Night, three Cobras shot with hot hands hands, each scoring in double digits. Jordan Jones with a team high of 20, Zavier Measmer with 15, and Tate Mulkey with 13. Will Asken, Mahmoud Bangura, and Jamie Muldowney all combined for a total of 18 points to boost the Cobras. As a team, Coker shot 46 percent from the field, 36.7 percent from the three point line, and 92.3 percent from the free throw line. 

Coker registered 18 rebounds, being led by Zavier Measmer with five and Jordan Jones with four. Three other Cobras collected the remaining nine rebounds. Jordan Jones once again led the Cobras, but this time in assists with nine for the night. 11 steals were registered throughout the game and four blocks. 

Inady Legiste collected a game high for the Pioneers with 21 points.

The Cobras will return to the court on Wednesday (Jan. 25th) against Newberry. Tip off is set for 7:30 PM in Newberry, SC. Live streaming and stats will be available at www.cokercobras.com
