5 Cobras Score in Double Digits in Victory over Trojans.

Hartsville, SC - The Coker University Men's Basketball Team shuts down Anderson with a 10 point deficit on Saturday Night (Jan. 7th).

Jordan Jones continuing to make play after play, led the Cobras with a personal high of 18 points on the night. Although Jones led with a heavy 18 points, Tate Mulkey followed close on his heels with 17 of his own. Jamie Muldowney (14), Mahmoud Bangura (11), and Zavier Measmer (10) continued to push the offensive effort by adding on an extra 35 points. Four other Cobras combined for the remaining 19 points. As a team, Coker shot 48.5 percent from the field, 42.3 percent from the three point line, and 87.5 percent from the foul line.

Jones not only led the team in points, but also in rebounds with seven. Jamie Muldowney came up with five, Glenn Bynum Jr. with four, and William Asken with 4. Once again, Jones (9) was leading the way with assists. Overall, the Cobras registered 20 assists and nine steals.

Myles Jenkins of Anderson had a game high of 23 points for the night.

The Cobras will be returning to action on Wednesday (Jan. 11th) against Lenoir-Rhyne. Tip off is set for 7:30 PM in Hickory, NC. Live streaming and stats will be available at www.cokercobras.com
