Florence, SC - The Coker University Men's Basketball Team dropped their second game against Francis Marion by a score of 87-75.

Once again, Tate Mulkey led the team in points with a heavy 25. Mulkey was followed up by Jordan Jones (16) and Mahmoud Bangura (10) who also scored in double digits. Six other Cobras combined to collect the remaining 24 points. As a team, Coker shot 39.1 percent from the field, 34.2 percent from the three-point line, and 80 percent from the free throw line.

Of the 27 rebounds, Jones registered eight for the night while Mulkey had six. Xavier Moultrie and Jordan Jones both led the team with two steals against the Patriots. Mahmoud Bangura had the one block on the night. 

Jonah Pierce led the Patriots with 22 points of his own. 

The Cobras willl return to the court on Wednesday (Jan. 4th) against Lenoir Rhyne. Tip off is set for 7:30 PM in Hartsville, SC. Live streaming and stats will be available at www.cokercobras.com
