Wingate, NC - The Coker University Men's Basketball team came up short on the road at Wingate on Sunday (Dec. 11th).

Jordan Jones, a Junior from Florence, lead the team with 19 points for the night. Mahmoud Bangura (11) and Demar Anderson (16) also scored in the double digits against Wingate. Six other Cobras contributed to the total of 79 points. 

Not only did Jones lead the team in points, but he also paced the Cobras in assists with 10 on the day. Anderson, Muldowney, Bangura, Measmer, and Mulkey posted assists for the game. Out of the 23 rebounds, Jones and Bangura, and Muldowney collected a total of 15.

Sean Elmore, a Guard from Wingate, scored 20 points to lead the Bulldogs. 

The Cobras will return to the court on Wednesday (Dec 14th) at Catwaba College.  Game time is 7:30 pm.   Live streaming and stats will be available to www.cokercobras.com
