Men's Basketball Drops South Atlantic Conference Contest to Catawba Monday Night

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Coker University men's basketball dropped its South Atlantic Conference contest to Catawba Monday night (Jan. 24) by a score of 80-58.

Jordan Jones led the scoring effort with a career-high 15 points, while Jahnarious Snell scored 11 points for his fourth consecutive double-figure outing. Six other Cobras scored in the game. Williams Onyeodi and Demar Anderson each pulled down a team-high four rebounds in the game, while Jones, Christopher Fordham and Zavier Measmer each grabbed three rebounds. Three other Cobras each secured one rebound in the contest. Jones dished out a team-high six assists in the game, while Fordham helped on two buckets and and three others each helped on one Coker bucket. Jones also led the way with a career-high five steals, while five others each registered steals in the game. Onyeodi and Raymond Bellamy each posted one block in the game.

The Cobras return to the court on Wednesday (Jan. 26) at Wingate in South Atlantic Conference action. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. from Wingate, N.C. with video and live stats available at www.cokercobras.com.
