
Eight Cobras Named To NHFCA National Academic Squad
Francesca Persano Montanara leads the way as she is named to the Scholars of Distinction Team for a 4.0 GPA.
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — The NFHCA proudly honors more than 125 outstanding undergraduate student-athletes from over 30 institutions who have achieved recognition as 2024 Division II Scholars of Distinction. This program acknowledges exceptional undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or higher through the fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches. Coker's Francesca Persano Montanara was one of those individuals named to the Scholars of Distinction Team.
In adition to Persano Montanara, Coker saw seven others be named to the NFHCA National Academic Team. To be named to this team, you must obtain a GPA of 3.5 or better. Those individuals from Coker named to this team were: Amba Brown, Zahira Ferreyra, Kelcie Gannon, Lizzy Hedgecock, Aleena Januchowksi, Skylar Ponik, and Eve Sekscinski.
Coker held a 3.4 GPA through the first semester as a team.
