Sabur Named To The All-SAC First Team
Senior Kaiya Sabur earns end of the year honors Wednesday morning.
Hartsville, SC. - Kaiya Sabur continued to draw the attention of SAC opponents as she has all year Wednesday morning, when she was name to the All-SAC First Team. The senior who seemingly played everywhere for the Cobras throughout the 2024 season, earned a nod as one of the top 13 players in the conference.
Sabur finished her senior campagin with 6 goals, 6 assists, 18 points, and 1 game winner on the year. In addition to her stats on the field, she also served as a team captain for the Cobras.
Kaiya's was a one time SAC offensive player of the week award winner after delivering a hat trick against Meredith, followed by two assists in a win over Lander the week of 8/21.
"Having the privellage to coach Kaiya from the time she was eight year old, is something that I have thouroughly enjoyed," head coach Joan Johnson stated. Johnson also added, "She is a player that works tremendously hard and leads her teammates in a postive way, and I am beyond thankful for what she has done for this program."
Kaiya ends her career at Coker with 17 career goals, 9 assists, 43 points, and 4 game winners.
