
Baseball Falls To North Greenville In Midweek
Cobras plate seven, fall to Trailblazers Wednesday night.
HARTSVILLE, SC. - Coker dropped its midweek contest with #20 North Greenville Wednesday night. The Cobras recorded nine hits on the night, but it was the Trailblazers scoring 14 on the night.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
North Greenville jumped out to an early lead Wednesday night thanks to two timely hits in the first inning. The Trailblazers scored six of their seven runs courtesy of a three run home run and a bases clearing double.
Kyle Stock came on in relief in the second inning and worked a quick top half. The Cobras then got back a run on a single from freshman Rocco Wojcik. North Greenville quickly shut down the Cobras threat from there and after two Coker trailed 7-1. They added another run in the third when Luke Peterson drove in Ick Cirino.
In the fifth inning, the Cobras got their first two batters on base, and later scored Cirino on another Peterson RBI. North Greenville continued to grow its lead though, plating three runs in back to back innings.
The Cobras tacked on three runs over the course of the final three innings, but it was the Trailblazers early runs that helped them hang on to a 14-7 win.
