Chapman Named Pitcher Of The Week After Dominating Performance

ROCK HILL, SC. - Cody Chapman has been tabbed Pitcher of the Week following his dominant performance over Emory and Henry Sunday. The senior threw a complete game shutout, while striking out 10 batters on the afternoon. 

Chapman was outstanding in the Cobras 10-0 win Sunday afternoon. He threw all seven innings, and faced just 26 batters. He struck out 10 batters while throwing 112 pitches in route of a game two win. Cody is the first Cobra to bring home an award this season for baseball. He allowed just two hits in his outing. 

This was his second consecutive win, helping Coker earn 10 straight wins. The Cobras now look ahead, as they welcome nationally ranked Lenoir-Rhyne Friday night.
