Kondla Announces 2025 Spring Schedule
Men's Baseball set to host 25 home contests in 2025.
HARTSVILLE, SC. - Third year Head Coach Fico Kondla announced the Men's Baseball 2025 schedule Thursday afternoon. The team will host 25 games at Tom J. New Field in the 2025 campgain, play 3 at a neutral site, and will be on the road for the remaining 22 contests.
The Cobras will kick off their 2025 season on January 31 with a home game against Belmont Abbey, followed by a doubleheader at the Crusaders on February 1. Coker then hits the road to face Mount Olive on February 5 for a midweek matchup, before returning home for a weekend series against Chowan from February 7 to February 9. Saturday and Sunday's games in this series will be played at Carolina Bank Field in Florence, SC.
They will then host Barton College on Wednesday with the first pitch being set for 3p.m., followed by a four-game home series against Ohio Dominican on February 14th and 15th. Both days will feature double headers against the Panthers.
Coker opens up conference play the following weekend on Friday the 21st when they travel to Emory and Henry for a three game series. The Cobras will then return home to host Lenoir-Rhyne, who was picked one spot ahead of the Cobras at 3rd in the preseason poll on Friday the 28th.
March brings a packed schedule for the Cobras, starting with a two-day road series against preseason SAC favorite Catawba on March 7th and 8th. Following the weekend with the Catawba Indians, Coker returns home for eight consecutive home games. Wingate, who was picked preseason 2nd, comes to Hartsville Mar. 14th and 15th to take on the Cobras in this span.
The Cobras then hit the road for Newberry in an in state conference matchup on March 28th and 29th to close the month out.
In the month of April, Coker plays host to two teams from Tennessee whille traveling to the third in Carson-Newman, Lincoln Memorial, and Tusculum. In between these series the Cobras will face off with Anderson in Anderson, SC.
Sac tournament play begins on May 2nd at the highest four seeds home site. The winners of each of the four home sites will then advance to the Championship series a week later for the chance to hoist the conference trophy
