Griffor Named to SAC All-Conference Third Team

ROCK HILL, S.C. - Coker University senior infielder Phill Griffor was named to the South Atlantic Conference All-Conference Third Team announced today (Apr. 27) by the conference.

Griffor led the Cobras with a batting average of .340 while recording 12 doubles, 39 RBI, and scoring 26 runs. He also set the Coker single-season record for at-bats with 203 and ended his career 8th all-time in both career hits (131) and RBI (76). Griffor was also named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Player of the Week (Mar. 1).

The China, Mich. native is the son of Jayne Griffor and will graduate with a degree in business administration.
