Cobras Drop Game Two Heartbreaker to #15 Lenoir-Rhyne
HICKORY, N.C. - The Coker University baseball team dropped both ends of a doubleheader to Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday (Mar. 12). Game one ended in a 11-0 scoreline and game two went to the Bears 8-7.

HICKORY, N.C. - The Coker University baseball team dropped both ends of a doubleheader to Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday (Mar. 12). Game one ended in a 11-0 scoreline and game two went to the Bears 8-7.
In game two, the Bears got out to a 2-0 lead after the first inning but the Cobras would surge back. RBI singles from Bryan Castillo and Jackson Williams evened the score at two after two innings. An RBI from Kody Hanna in the third, and RBIs from Phill Griffor, Reilly Hall, and Brady Jeffcoat in the fourth gave Coker a 7-2 lead. The Bears would battle back however and win game two in walk-off fashion in the ninth inning.
