Baseball Falls to Catawba
HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker baseball team dropped it’s midweek game to Catawba College by a 9-1 tally on Tuesday (Feb. 22).

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker baseball team dropped it's midweek game to Catawba College by a 9-1 tally on Tuesday (Feb. 22).
The Cobras scored their lone run in the second inning on a Corey Listing RBI single that scored Bryan Castillo. Phill Griffor led the offensive effort for Coker, as he recorded five hits in his five trips to the plate on the afternoon. Kody Hanna had two hits, including the Cobras' sole extra-base hit as he roped a double. Castillo, Brady Jeffcoat, and Listing each tallied one hit, with Listing adding the RBI.
Coker will be back in action on the diamond this weekend as they host UVA-Wise for a three game set. Friday's game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. first pitch, with live video and statistics available at www.cokercobras.com.
