HARTSVILLE, S.C. -- The Coker College baseball team lost both games of their doubleheader to the eleventh-ranked Catawba Indians on Saturday (Mar. 23).
Larry McCabe was fantastic in game one of the doubleheader, going 4-4 with two home runs, two RBI, and four runs scored. McCabe now leads the team with six home runs on the season.
Reilly Hall, RJ Ball, and Matt Swiderski each tallied two hits apiece in the opener. Hall added two hits in game two as well, while Chase Bruno went 2-4 with two runs and two RBI.
Drake Knight pitched well in relief in game two, allowing just one run over 3.1 innings.
The Cobras will be back in action on Tuesday (Mar. 26) when they host Lenoir-Rhyne. First pitch is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
