Cobras Drop Doubleheader to Wingate
SALISBURY, N.C. -- The Coker College baseball team dropped a doubleheader to Wingate in South Atlantic Conference action on Saturday (Mar. 16).
Lake Lybrand and Chase Bruno each notched a pair of hits in game one, and Nathan Landreth posted a strong start in game two, pitching five innings, and allowing just two earned runs. The Cobras ultimately lost game one by a final of 12-1, and game two by a final score of 2-0.
Coker will be back in action on Sunday (Mar. 17) when they finish out their three-game series with Wingate. First pitch is set for 1:00 p.m.
