KANNAPOLIS, N.C. -- The Coker College baseball team fell to Queens 13-7 in South Atlantic Conference action on Sunday (Mar. 3).
Matt Swiderski led the Cobras offensively, going 2 for 3 on the afternoon. Grant Thompson added a hit to extend his hitting streak to 17 games, and Gavin Matthews notched a two-RBI single in the ninth -- the first hit and RBIs of his collegiate career.
The Cobras will be back in action on Tuesday when they host Saint Rose for an afternoon doubleheader. First pitch is scheduled for 12 p.m.
