
Coker Wins Tri-Meet Over Converse And Francis Marion
Cobras put together a score of 241.250 in Saturday's tri-meet.
SPARTANSBURG, SC. - Coker took down Converse and Francis Marion Saturday, improving to 5-1 on the year.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Converse took an early lead Saturday afternoon in the compulsory event, as Coker put together a score of 33.90. The Cobras then quickly responded in the acro event placing first in that event. Coker recorded scores of 8.90, 7.50, and 8.80 to finish the round with a score of 25.20.
Coker then won the pryamid portion with a total score of 28.50, but it was the toss event that Coker began to separate from Converse. Coker put together scores of 8.70, 8.45, and 9.15 to post a total score of 26.30.
The Cobras then dominated the tumbling event, by putting together a score of 49.600 out of 50 to ultimately defeat both Converse and Francis Marion. Coker added a score of 77.75 in the team event, 7 points higher than Converse to win the meet.
This is the fourth time this season the Cobras have posted a team score over 240.00. The Cobras have now improved to 5-1 on the season with two meets remaining.
