
Coker Takes Down King Saturday Night
Cobras post second straight score above 240, win at King.
BRISTOL, TN. - Coker took down King Saturday night with a final of 247.260 to 226.140. The Cobras have now won all three meets in their 2025 campaign.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Cobras jumped out to an early lead Saturday night when they scored a 34.700 score in the Compulsory round. King trailed the Cobras by a little more than three with a score of 31.600 in the round. Coker recorded scores of 9.200 in the acro piece, 9.200 in pyramid, 9.600 in toss, and 6.700 in the tumbling section. This was the second tiime this season the Cobras have scored over 34 in the first competition.
In the acro section, the Cobras extended their lead by three more points as they comprised a score of 27.350 in the three heats, to bring their running total to 62.050.
The pyramid section is when the Cobras began to completely separate themselves from King. In the three heats they put together scores of 9.200, 9.500, and 9.450 to score 28.150 in he round overall. At this rounds end, Coker found themselves leading King 116.500 to 101.150.
Over the course of the final two events, Coker put together scores of 48.650 in the tumbling section, and rounded out their meet with a 82.110 team even score. By the ends meet, the Cobras found themselves taking down King 247.260 to 226.140.
