
Coker Wins First Tri-Meet Of The Season
Cobras take down Emmanuel and Wingate in opening meet.
EMMANUEL, GA. - Coker scored a meet high 241.410 in their opening meet of the season Friday night at Emmanuel. The Cobras, who were picked preseason 3rd in the Conference of Carolinas, took down Wingate and Emmanuel on night one.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Cobras got off to a great start Friday evening in the compulsory round, racking up a meet high 35.750 points. Coker posted scores of 9.050 in the Acro portion, 9.450 in the pyramid, 9.350 in the toss section, and 7.900 in the tumbling portion.
Coker then moved to the Acro section, as they added a score of 17.050, bringing their running total to 52.800.
The Cobras posted their highest score of the night in the Tumbling section, when they scored 48.100. The first heat was the best for the Cobras in this event, as they recorded a score of 9.100.
In the team event, Coker added the highest score of all three teams with a score of 87.660. This ultimately pushed the Cobras over the top, helping them take down both Wingate and Emmanuel.

Coker returns to action Saturday the 15th, when they travel to King. The meet is set to start at 4:00 PM.
