Clark helped the Cobras to six wins during the COVID-19-shortened 2020 season, and also recieved votes in the USILA Division II national poll. Clark coached Joe Venazio to a pair of South Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors (Feb. 3 and Feb. 24), before Venazio was named to the USILA D2 Team of the Week on Feb. 25. Under Clark's guidance, Venazio recorded his 100th career point on Mar. 5 at Montevallo, before Ethan Irizarry became the second player during the season to hit the century mark against No. 12 Queens. Academically, Men's Lacrosse posted a 3.21 team GPA for the year and landed nine players on the 2019-20 SAC Commissioner's Honor Roll. 

Thatcher Clark joined the Coker University men's lacrosse staff in January of 2020. 

Clark comes to Hartsville after an oustanding playing career at The University of Mount Olive, where he was a two-time All-American and a three-time All-Conference selection. He was a Third Team All-American and a First Team All-Conference selection as a junior and senior, while also being named to the Conference Carolinas All-Conference Second Team as a sophomore. 

He was a 2015 U.S. Lacrosse High School All-American out of Winter Park High School, while also leading his team in points and being named the Offensive MVP in both 2014 and 2015. 

The Winter Park, Fla. native is a 2019 graduate of Mount Olive with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management, and is pursuing his Master's of Science in College Athletic Administration at Coker.
