COKER MEN'S AND WOMEN'S BASKETBALL NAMED SAC TEAMS OF THE WEEK

Rock Hill, SC - Both of your Coker Basketball teams have been named "South Atlantic Conference Teams of the Week", per the SAC social media releases this morning!

Both teams earned road wins yesterday evening over Emory & Henry, with the women dominating in every aspect in a 77-60 victory while the men erased a fourteen-point deficit to escape with a 112-109 win. This win pushed both teams to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in the SAC, having yet to drop a contest this season.

Men's Basketball is currently ranked 24th in the country in the DII NABC Coach's Poll and is ranked 4th regionally in the D2CSC Southeast Regional Rankings. The women are on the verge of national recognition and are also ranked 4th regionally in the D2CSC Southeast Regional Rankings.

Both teams will look to push their record to 7-0 overall and 5-0 in the SAC this weekend when they host Mars Hill on Saturday here in the DeLoach Center. Tip-off for the women's game will be at 2:00 PM ET with the men to follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one (currently scheduled for 4:00).
