
Men's Basketball Ranked 24th in NABC Coaches Poll
Coker receives national recognition in latest National Association of Basketball Coaches
Hartsville, SC. - Coker Men's Basketball has been ranked 24th in the latest NABC Division II rankings. The Cobras, who are one of 15 remaining undefeated teams in the nation, receive the recognition following its 103-91 win over Limestone Saturday afternoon.
The Cobras have scored 103 points or more in all five games this season, while outscoring its opponents 591-500. Coker currently sits at first place in the nation in points per game (118.2), assists per game (28.0), bench points per game (63.4), scoring offense (118.2), three point attempts per game (40.4), and three point makes per game (17.6).
The teams 5-0 start is the best start in the school's Division II era.
Lincoln Memorial is the only SAC school outside of the Cobras in this weeks poll, checking in at 16. Carson Newman is receiving votes.
Coker returns to action Wednesday when they travel to Emory and Henry to take on the wasps. Tipoff is set for 7:30 PM.
