Coker Athletics Releases Fall 2024 Schedule
XC:
As the 2024 cross-country is on the horizon, the Coker University men's and women's teams are gearing up for a competitive season. The teams will start off their season at the Bruins XC Night Classic on August 30th, followed by the Downback Invitational on September 6th. The teams will compete in September at the Converse Kick-Off, a Southeast Regional Preview. In October, they will face off against tough competition at the Royals Cross Country Challenge before heading to the SAC Conference Championships on October 19th.
Men's Soccer:
Men's soccer schedule is filled with exciting matchups and tough competition. The season kicks off with scrimmages against with a few scrimmages with Coastal Carolina, King (Tenn.), and Lander in August. September brings the home opener against Nova Southeastern, followed by away games against Lees-McRae, Chowan, and Carson-Newman. October features conference matchups against Catawba, Emory & Henry, and Lenoir-Rhyne, among others. The season wraps up in November with games against Mars Hill and Wingate. With a mix of home and away games, the Cobras will be looking to make a strong statement in the conference and put together a successful season.
Women's Soccer:
The women's soccer team is gearing up for an exciting season ahead. With their home opener against Emmanuel (GA) on September 5th, the team is ready to showcase their skills and determination on the field. Throughout the season, they will face tough opponents such as Limestone, Carson-Newman, and Lincoln Memorial. The team will also have key matchups against Catawba, Lenoir-Rhyne, and Tusculum in October. The season will conclude in November with games against Mars Hill and Wingate.
