HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker University men's soccer player Christian Provenzano has been named the SPC Credit Union Student-Athlete of the month for November after an impressive month on the field. Provenzano also received student athlete of the month honors in September.

The junior striker from Bonassola, Italy led the team, and was second in the South Atlantic Conference in goals with 14. He led the conference with nine assists. Christian was named the SAC AstroTurf Offensive Player of the Week for matches played between Sept. 23 – Sept. 29, scoring two goals and one assist, including guiding the Cobras to an upset victory over nationally ranked Lander University on Sept. 25. Provenzano found the back of the net three times while dishing out two assists in the SAC Tournament, which earned him a spot on the SAC All-Conference first team, and the 2019 SAC All-Tournament team.

"Great achievement to cap off a great season for Christian," said coach Michael Antoniewicz. "Our team had a lot of success in November and Christian played a big part in that."

He is the son of Antonio and Maria Teresa.
