HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Coker University men’s soccer junior midfielder Markos Touroukis was named the SPC Credit Union November Student-Athlete of the Month, announced by the Coker University athletic department today (Monday, Dec. 6).

Touroukis played and started in all five matches in the month of November, registering 11 points on five goals and one assist including the South Atlantic Conference tournament championship-clinching goal against Mars Hill on Nov. 14 in double overtime. He was also named to the SAC All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of the tournament.

This is Touroukis’s first career Student-Athlete of the Month honor. The Kerkyra, Greece native is the son of Konstantinos and Sandra Touroukis, and is a business management major.
